Artificial Immortality

Is artificial immortality possible after a person died? Based on my knowledge, I think it's impossible, because people need to "download" the memory of the specific person, therefore, they can simulate the person's acts and voice to communicate with people, but there is no USB insert or whatever things to install drive, that's why I think it is impossible to do so.
Let's go back through years ago, when Steve Jobs passed away, a joke bounced around, which the man had done so much to shape modern technology hadn't really died at all, but rather had turned out how to upload himself into the Mac OS (System of Mac) so he could live on with and with his products forever. This idea seems ridiculous, but not everyone sees it that way. 



Scientists have some improvement on the artificial things. The robot can speak with a specific voice and do something that the commander says. According to www.rt.com, "An Artificial Intelligence pioneer is embracing the controversial idea of uploading the memories, thoughts and feelings of a living person into a computer to create a Mind Clone or 'second self' The prototype for this new self is called 'Bina-48'"

I have to say this: It's little bit scary of the "second self" because it is a clone of the person just died (or not) it's a shock for his/her friends. 

However, there is a common concern of society: What if they take control over human?

 According to Humai- a Los Angeles based robotics company focused on human life extension had claimed that "We're using artificial intelligence and nanotechnology to store data of conversational styles, behavioral patterns [...] This data will coded into simple sensor technologies, which will be built into an artificial body with the brain of a deceased human. Using cloning technology, we will restore the brain as it matures." (www.sciencealert.com)

 In summary, I still don't believe that the artificial immortality is possible, it may possible in the way the robot talking and acting, but not the mortal way such as thinking and have a true feeling. Death is the one thing that's guaranteed in today's world. Although it's nice data, and that life ends when your body does, if this thought makes you really sad, just count yourself lucky that your're not around for what happens next.
